Keep The Sabbath, Avoid The Death Sentence!

HotelDelCoranado

Everyone who rejects keeping the Sabbath of YHVH God gets a death sentence and their name is not in the Book of Life.  Number 15:32-36

They think their name is in the Book of Life but refusing to keep YHVH God’s Commandments The Way He says to keep them results in everlasting punishment.

SOUNDS HARSH doesn’t it?

But how many examples of refusing to obey YHVH God’s Commandments are needed to convince people He and His Son are VERY SERIOUS about keeping the Father’s Commandments?

In Acts 5 we see a husband and wife put to death for merely claiming they were giving all the money, to the church, of a sale of a piece of property yet they held back part of the money and made it look as if they gave all the money.  They were casual about it and they died.

It does not pay to lie to YHVH God the Father’s Spirit that He placed in you and in your brothers and sisters in Messiah.

There are a number of sins that lead to death, according to 1 John 5:16

Peter said the righteous ones are scarcely saved.  Many people think they are righteous…  Many claim the Sabbath and the Torah.  Yet simple examinations of their behaviors show disobedience to the Commandments, in many of those people.

I know people who claim they keep the Sabbath yet they drive to the countryside, lake, or beach to take pictures of the sunset at the end of the 6th day.  I know other people who claim they keep the Sabbath yet they drive to the houses of their parents, siblings, relatives, and/or friends to celebrate someone’s birthday which just happens to fall on the Sabbath.  The Torah says there are only 2 places we should be on the Sabbath and that is in our home/place or at a holy convocation and ALWAYS keeping His set apart day holy.

I have a friend who would attend the birthday parties of his grandchildren on the Sabbath when his children do not keep the Sabbath at all.  That will not pass at The Judgment.  You do not go out and be with people who do not keep the Sabbath Holy, on the Sabbath.  Why?  Because that results in you not being Holy on the Sabbath and that gets the death penalty.

I have another friend who owns rental properties, claims to keep the Sabbath, and yet inspected a rental because a tenant was moving out and cleaned the property on the Sabbath and wanted to be released.

I personally know and have talked with a large number of Messianic teachers who hold conferences in hotels where the hotel workers serve them on the Sabbath.  When I question them they say it is not possible to keep the Sabbath at a hotel event because of the logistics of many people trying to keep it correctly so they must make exceptions.  These teachers and their followers are headed for a BAD JUDGMENT.  They think they are doing good.  In the end, they rejected guarding the Sabbath seeking to further their ministries…

NO exceptions were made in Numbers 15:32-36 therefore no exceptions can be made for Messianic teachers either as YHVH cannot judge with a different set of rules for different people.

There are no exceptions to the simple Sabbath LAW except emergencies that threaten life.  Beyond that there are no emergencies that important.

Mark 1 shows us how well the people understood what I have said here because on the Sabbath the town’s people would not even bring the sick and demon possessed to the house where Yeshua was staying until after sundown and the Sabbath was over.  They understood that you do not test YHVH God’s mercy by going out of the way to do good on the Sabbath.  That day, Yeshua had healed a man with an unclean spirit, in the synagogue.  After Yeshua got to Peter’s house he healed Peter’s mother-in-law.  But he did those things in 2 of the 3 places THE LAW allows him to be on the Sabbath.  Any other time Yeshua healed on the Sabbath it was in one of those 2 places or in transit to one of those 2 places.

The Sabbath is very simple to keep but people seem to want to complicate it with their lives, wants, and needs.

Isaiah 58:13-14

13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of YHVH honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of YHVH has spoken.”

Quite often, people just do what they want to do and call it DOING GOOD but it is really their pleasure they are feeding whether it is visiting a sick relative in the hospital on the Sabbath or attending a birthday party on the Sabbath.

There are no exceptions like those things…

Making exceptions are THE REASON the world is in the state it is in…

Guard the Sabbath with your life as your life does in fact depend on it.

Shabbat Shalom!
