It took them while to figure out who God’s Son was…
They really did not know who they were dealing with in the beginning!
Can you imagine a guy walking up to your fishing boat and he says “follow me…” and you drop everything and go running off after him, leaving your family behind?
Do you wake up the next morning wondering “what in the world did I do?”
When YHVH speaks, people tend to listen, unless of course they know it is him.
If they know it is him they play the “let some other guy do it” game we see in Exodus 20.
If they do not know it is him and think it is some great human charismatic leader then they can often get snagged hook, line, and sinker.
YHVH, whether He is speaking through the mouth of Moses or the mouth of Aaron or the mouth of Yeshua His Son has the ability to make you do anything He wants you to do.
When YHVH spoke to Pharaoh through the mouth of Moses, YHVH already knew Pharaoh’s heart and even though Pharaoh was given several opportunities to change he did not and YHVH hardened Pharaoh’s heart all the more. Was Pharaoh being punished for the life he had led as well as the hard life he put the children of Israel through?
Deuteronomy 18:15-19 shows us very clearly that Yeshua His Son is sort of a puppet and sort of similar to a ventriloquist’s “dummy”. It is pretty much exactly that cut and dry because Yeshua says he has no words of his own and he has no doctrine of his own and he even shows us he has no desire to have any will of his own except that he give himself to be used as a vessel to speak his Father’s Words, teach his Father’s Doctrine, and do his Father’s Will.
After you add up all the prophecies and verses, you begin to realize The Father is speaking through The Son and that is what makes The Son what and who he is…
Yeshua is showing us exactly how we are supposed to live according to his Father’s desires and never, ever stray from it.
Yeshua shows us we are to wake up every day seeking his Father’s Will and extend that Way of life into every night.
Now, with those simple basic concepts in mind let me share this verse:
Matthew 10:38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
That means those who do not live like Yeshua lived are not worthy of him and his Father.
That means those who do not speak his Father’s Words are not worthy of him and his Father.
That means those who walk in YHVH’s Will like His Son did are not worthy of His Son and YHVH Himself.
That means those who do not keep YHVH’s Sabbath, observe YHVH’s new moons, keep YHVH’s Feasts, and keep all THE LAW just like His Son did are not in any way, shape, or form worthy of His Son or of YHVH Himself.
God’s Son said the GREATEST COMMANDMENT in THE LAW is to love YHVH his Father!
God’s Son said point blank the way we know he loves YHVH his Father is that he keeps his Father’s Commandments.
That is the total faith of God’s Son…
Is that what you are taught to DO?
Or did some theologian get in the way of your relationship with God and His Son?
Keeping ALL the commandments of YHVH God our Father is the total faith of His Son.
Now, read this verse one more time:
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Yeshua).
Do not let anybody whether pastor, teacher, spouse, friend, parent, child, or anybody else get in the way of you keeping what God’s Son said is the GREATEST COMMANDMENT.
Loving his Father the right way (not some made up theological way) is how God’s Son lived his life.
And we are supposed to be the image of God’s Son…
And that is the only way the Bible teaches how to be saved.
Shabbat Shalom!
