Isn’t it amazing how putting a few scriptures together can logically destroy thousands of years of theology?
In Hebrews 11, the FAITH chapter of the Bible, it is written that Moses apparently knew God’s Son so well as a young man before Moses ever went to Midian that at the very time, in his life where all of Egypt was at his feet, Moses threw off everything about the wealth of Egypt, threw off everything about the power of Egypt and being in Pharaoh’s household, threw off everything about the status of that empire and all its prominence in the world and Moses chose to forsake ALL for the cause of Christ (Messiah)…
Moses was in such a position in Pharaoh’s house that he could have had ANYTHING he wanted. Anything!
But, Moses threw all the pleasures of sin completely away and CHOSE to suffer AFFLICTION with the people of the God of Israel rather than enjoy all the pleasure the world and empire of Egypt had to offer.
Can you imagine throwing off the Mercedes Benz’ gold hubcap chariot, the McMansion’s castle, the Cairo Ivy league educations for the kids, the country club golf and tennis memberships, the choice of any mate you want in or outside of marriage, the care free life never having to work to provide to eat your next meal, in fact never having to really live the “rat race” at all, and having everything handed to you on a gold and silver platter?
That is what Moses did.
Threw it all away…
Moses threw it all away and chose to go live in destitution with the slaves of Israel and work in the brickyard or pulling giant statutes and massive, chiseled stones around so Pharaoh and his family could have whatever monuments to themselves they wanted.
Moses chose to be a slave to Messiah, to put it bluntly and accurately, to be FREE from the sin of the world.
1 Corinthians 7:22 For he who is called in the Master/The Word while a slave is the Master’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Messiah’s slave.
But Moses never knew God’s Son, the physical man Yeshua…
What Moses knew was far greater than Yeshua!
What Moses KNEW was the TORAH that made Yeshua to be the Messiah! That is also executing YHVH’s Word that made the Persian King Cyrus to be called Messiah.
YHVH would not create the physical Yeshua (Jesus), the man, for about 1,500 more years…
The only thing that makes Yeshua to be the Messiah is THE WORD in him which is THE WORD of his Father YHVH.
That is the whole point to the Deuteronomy 18:15-19 prophecy about Messiah.
Before the foundation of the world, YHVH could see the end from the beginning:
Isaiah 46:10-11 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.
YHVH God’s Son was created over 2,000 years ago but THE WORD that made His Son to be Messiah is EVERLASTING and never, NEVER, EVER CHANGES.
That is how powerful the TORAH IS…
YHVH is omnipresent before and after HIS-tory.
That is how The Lamb was slain BEFORE the foundation of the world…
“Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.”
We exist is a matrix of sorts created by YHVH for His Pleasure…
He holds everything together in His Matrix by the power of His WORD.
Colossians 1:17 He existed before all things, and He holds everything together.
YHVH created His Son with His WORD/LAW/Torah in His Son…
The greatest commandment is to love YHVH…
YHVH’s Son says you know I love my Father because I keep His Commandments…
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever obeys (believes) THE WORD (in Him) should not perish but have everlasting life.
The biblical definition of the word “believe” means to obey completely. Otherwise, one simply does not believe…
God does not change, Malachi 3:6
The very idea that God changed is ludicrous, false, and contrary to the Scriptures…
Remember the Sabbath to keep it HOLY…
Read Isaiah 56 very carefully.
Yes, Moses knew Messiah, The WORD of YHVH, and believed and obeyed, “for he looked to the reward” (Revelation 21, Jeremiah 31:31-34).
That is the same thing Abraham rejoiced to see. The reward of THE LAW of YHVH written by YHVH on the heart of a man and put by YHVH into a man’s mind so that the man can do perfect Righteousness and enter into YHVH’s presence without sin, without spot, without blemish.
Those who keep The Sabbath and all THE LAW will one day, after The Judgment, be written into by YHVH, just like He wrote into His Son.
Shalom!
