Christian theology commits intellectual and logical suicide freely and openly with no shame.
What seems even more unbelievable is many Christians are aware of this and still stand by the lies.
Jesus Christ said the Greatest Commandment is to love God the Father.
The same Jesus Christ said the Second Greatest Commandment is to love your neighbor.
Both of these commandment originate in The Law of Moses. (Deuteronomy 6:5, Leviticus 19:18)
One thing is for sure and beyond debate…
It is IMPOSSIBLE to love God the Father unless one keeps the 7th Day Sabbath.
God’s Son, Yeshua Messiah, said to love God the Father is the Greatest Commandment and the way we know God’s Son loved his Father was BECAUSE he kept his Father’s Commandments.
John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
“JUST AS” means EXACTLY LIKE.
Here’s “JUST AS” in the Greek original text:
G2531 καθώς kathōs kath-oce’ From G2596 and G5613; just (or inasmuch) as, that: – according to, (according, even) as, how, when.
So, you see clearly we are to love God the Father in the EXACT, SAME, IDENTICAL way that God’s own Son loved The Father.
Messiah never, ever, once taught that he was creating a brand new religion or changing the Way of having a relationship with God the Father.
He said just that in Matthew 5:17
We fulfill God’s LAW when we keep it, EXACTLY, like His Son did!
Shalom
PS… Did God’s Son say he was limiting the required commandments to just 2? Of course not, Matthew 19:17
