Pornography has destroyed the lives of tens of millions, perhaps billions of people, men, women, and children, animals, and now even robots.
Pornography is easily associated with rape, child rape, molestation, bestiality, adultery, untold millions of divorces, fornication, lusting/coveting, and far more, and is totally and completely contrary to the commandments of YHVH God.
But, pornography is not contrary to the laws of the United States or the Supreme Court, or the Congress of the United States.
In the U.S. there was not even enough moral consensus to put all porn on a .XXX website domain let alone ban it completely.
In the Philippines, President Duterte has banned much porn there and seeking to ban all porn there.
In the Philippines they understand clearly the devastating toll porn takes on its viewers and those who suffer at the hands of its viewers:

In America, porn is protected under the unrighteous banner/veil of “free speech”.
Hundreds of millions, perhaps billions of men, in particular, have fallen prey to porn at some point in their lifetimes. As a youth, I saw magazines, and as an adult even after becoming a “Christian” my eye strayed on a few occasions but there has never been a time in my adult life that I did not support the total ban of it from society. Porn is contrary to even a limited Christian understanding of God’s Commandments. I do not mind confessing the issue because it is through confession to repentance to right living that we overcome and have the testimony of TORAH (God’s Son) and gain the victory.
In heaven and at The Judgment, it’s not a debate about whether someone has sinned but it is about whether they repented, offered the sacrifice of God’s Son, and then whether they complete the statute in the Torah if there is one by making restitution to the offended person or YHVH if necessary. No one gets to sin and continually ask “Jesus” to forgive them. Even “Jesus” said to ask for forgiveness from His Father. The only way to get forgiveness from YHVH God the Father is through His Torah which He put in the flesh of His Son so people would learn to obey Torah. That is John 1:14 and Deuteronomy 18:15-19 in reality!
People will find out at The Judgment that if they did not keep Torah when God’s Son rejects them because as he says he does not know them. If a person rejects keeping Torah then they are equivalently rejecting a true relationship with YHVH God and His Son. That’s Matthew 7:23!
Porn is absolutely contrary to a true biblical understanding of YHVH God’s Commandments in the “old testament” and porn should not exist in society if people are committed to keeping God’s Commandments. But while it exists, it will entice people into it.
Porn is an enticement into sexual sin, nothing less, and at its peak it is the defiant refusal to keep YHVH God’s Commandments He gave to the children of Israel which is all people in the entire world who say they truly follow YHVH and His Son and seek YHVH’s Righteousness.
Anyone who understands God’s Commandments understands they also have the responsibility written into the Torah to destroy and get rid of anything that causes anyone to break God’s Commandments. That responsibility does not stop at the front door of houses but extends into political activism to effect the end of all things porn from society and all other things in society that cause violations of YHVH God’s Commandments.
That societal responsibility and expectation of God is best defined in Joshua 7 and the violations of Achan.
YHVH held all of Israel responsible for the violations and did not rest until Israel did away with the violators and violations. We can never, ever abdicate societal responsibility because the moment we do we become part of the problem not part of the solution. Unfortunately, most people have abdicated.
We are all held responsible by YHVH and His Son to effect godliness and Torah in the society we live in… Not trying is not an option!
Men, in particular, will always be faced with images of women in their minds that they have to battle and overcome because that is Satan and one’s flesh trying to get them to break YHVH’s Commandments. Images in the mind are one thing and one type of battle but images elsewhere are something that can be abolished and should be abolished.
That is the fight, that is the battle, to beat down and overcome the flesh and wicked desire which involves breaking YHVH’s Commandments.
You can bet at the writing of the Constitution allowing the direct violation of God’s Commandments was not on the forefather’s minds. They never conceived an America where the justification of breaking God’s commandments would be so blatantly justified under the words they penned into the Constitution. They never envisioned evil men would come along to turn evil into protected evil under the very words they penned. They hoped the people would stand up for right but the people failed and succumbed to lusting/coveting.
Donald Trump signed an anti-porn pledge.

Can he deliver? Was he serious about it or just using it to garner votes? Is there anything he can do or change, or limit, or completely do away with porn?
Yes, there is much he can do legally, legislatively, and through the election process – but will he?
Trump cannot do it alone. The people who elected him have the responsibility to make sure he does his job and they make it easier for him to do his job by getting active in society and effecting godly change. There is much the people can do to select godly people to run for elective office in 2018 but the time is growing very short to select them as the selection process is already underway and most of the people know nothing about it. Most of it is done in dark, political corners.
If the people do not go into those political parties or start new political parties then true godly change will not happen just because one man is elected. The people are required by YHVH God and His Son to share the burden not place the burden on one man’s back.
Time will tell.
Shalom!
