Believers in false theologies love to quote Hebrews 7:12
They say THE LAW changed…
But what does the Greek say? And more importantly what does the Hebrew say?
“change” translated in Hebrews 7:12 is the Greek word:
G3331 μετάθεσις metathesis met-ath’-es-is From G3346; transposition, that is, transferral (to heaven), disestablishment (of a law): – change, removing, translation.
“changed” translated in Hebrews 7:12 is the Greek word:
G3346 μετατίθημι metatithēmi met-at-ith’-ay-mee From G3326 and G5087; to transfer, that is, (literally) transport, (by implication) exchange, (reflexively) change sides, or (figuratively) pervert: – carry over, change, remove, translate, turn.
A quick search on those Greek words reveals:

Where both G3346 and G3331 are used talking about the translation or transfer of Enoch from earth to heaven to be with YHVH.
The search on G3346 also reveals a passage about Joseph’s bones being carried from Egypt to Israel to be buried there:

Genesis 50:25 Then Joseph took an oath from the children of Israel, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.”
The word for “carry” in Hebrew is:

(cause to) ascend up, at once, break [the day] (up), bring (up), (cause to) burn, carry up, cast up, + shew, climb (up), (cause to, make to) come (up), cut off, dawn, depart, exalt, excel, fall, fetch up, get up, (make to) go (away, up), grow (over), increase, lay, leap, levy, lift (self) up, light, [make] up, X mention, mount up, offer, make to pay, + perfect, prefer, put (on), raise, recover, restore, (make to) rise (up), scale, set (up), shoot forth (up), (begin to) spring (up), stir up, take away (up), work.
The idea of change is not there anywhere in the original definition of the word the bad translators use in Hebrews 7:12!
Joseph’s bones were carried by Israel for more than 70 years, from before the time Joshua was 40 years old until at or after Joshua was 110 years old and they buried them in Abraham’s cave. And guess what? Joseph’s bones are still there to this very day!
Joseph’s bones did not change!
And for that matter Enoch was transferred and still very much alive to this very day!
So, the understanding of Hebrews is very simple indeed. The Levitical Priesthood was put on hold while Yeshua performed the entire function of the Levitical Priesthood in heaven. The Levitical Priesthood was put on hold because in Yeshua’s day they were completely corrupted with traditions and false teachings today known as Talmudic Judaism which wraps itself around Torah adding to it and taking away from it, hence nullifying Torah making it of none effect. The Levitical Priesthood returns in the 7th Millennium with Yeshua governing it making sure it is run correctly, Ezekiel 40 – 48.
So, that part of THE LAW performed by the Levites and Priests was transferred to Yeshua as well as Yeshua taking on all sin and YHVH substituting him into Torah as the required sacrifice for the people.
From The People’s perspective, however, absolutely nothing has changed in their requirements for keeping THE LAW just like Yeshua said it would not ever change unless perhaps heaven and earth passed away:
We know that happens at Revelation 21 when Jeremiah 31:31-34 becomes reality for those who pass The Judgment and they pass into the perfection of the New Covenant with YHVH Himself writing His LAW into the hearts of His followers and putting His LAW into the minds of all those who loved Him and kept His Commandments.
Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fully preach (fulfill, pleroo).
Most translations of Hebrews 7:12 are simply bad translations and do not hold up to biblical analysis!
True believers are still required to keep THE LAW of YHVH just as Yeshua and Paul both said is so.
IF one pen stroke of THE LAW were to pass away or change before heaven and earth pass away THEN we could safely say God’s Son is a liar!
Who are the liars? Those who propagate satanic controlled false theologies that lead the sheep, YHVH’s People into false practices of not KEEPing YHVH’s Commandments.
Those theologians, teachers, pastors, leaders, and bible translators are the wolves Paul spoke about and are the liars and those are who changed LAW and that is the mark of anti-Messiah:
Daniel 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and LAW.
Anyone who says THE LAW changed up until the time of the Last Days of this age and until Daniel’s prophecy of 70 Weeks is fulfilled is under the spell of anti-Messiah and their thoughts are controlled by Satan.
That is the full weight and truth of Daniel and repeated many, many times in the other Prophets as well.
