For almost 6,000 years, every 6th Day, the setting sun in the West begins the holiness of the 7th Day.

The 7th Day is an Everlasting testament to our Creator and His steadfast immutability.
Immutability is a big word and most do not learn its definition.
So, let’s go to Merriam Webster to see how they define immutable:
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/immutable
“not capable of or susceptible to change”
About the history or etymology of immutable Webster’s says:
Immutable comes to us through Middle English from Latin immutabilis, meaning “unable to change.” “Immutabilis” was formed by combining the negative prefix in- with “mutabilis,” which comes from the Latin verb mutare and means “to change.” Some other English words that can be traced back to “mutare” are “commute” (the earliest sense of which is simply “to change or alter”), “mutate” (“to undergo significant and basic alteration”), “permute” (“to change the order or arrangement of”), and “transmute” (“to change or alter in form, appearance, or nature”). There’s also the antonym of “immutable” – “mutable” – which of course can mean “prone to change” and “capable of change or of being changed.”
This exact word, immutable, appears to be used in only 2 places in the Bible and both are in Hebrews 6.
But the verses refer to YHVH’s Counsel as unchanging so it is for us to obey Matthew 6:33 and seek to find and unlock the secrets of how to fully understand what is being taught to us in Hebrews 6.
A simple search on counsel in all the Bible reveals:
Isaiah 46:9-11
9 Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
11 Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel, from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.
We see the word STAND in Isaiah 46:10
H6965 קוּם qûm koom
A primitive root; to rise (in various applications, literally, figuratively, intensively and causatively): – abide, accomplish, X be clearer, confirm, continue, decree, X be dim, endure, X enemy, enjoin, get up, make good, help, hold, (help to) lift up (again), make, X but newly, ordain, perform, pitch, raise (up), rear (up), remain, (a-) rise (up) (again, against), rouse up, set (up), (e-) stablish, (make to) stand (up), stir up, strengthen, succeed, (as-, make) sure (-ly), (be) up (-hold, -rising).
And in this word, QUM, we see the nature of all the WORD of YHVH God the Father of all Creation which identifies Him and PERFECT and UNCHANGING!!!
So, everything He ever said cannot change, does not change, not even the slightest shadow of a change!
Totally dependable and PERFECT from beginning to end.
And He calls us to be LIKE Him, set apart, to DO His Will which is revealed in His Words which comprise THE LAW He gave to the children of Israel in The Wilderness and beyond.
Shabbat Shalom!
PS…
They claim God changed THE LAW and The Sabbath. Do you see any evidence that God changes in the Scriptures? No!
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Malachi 3:6 For I am YHVH, I do not change
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Hebrews 6:17-18 Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the unchangeability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18 that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
Hebrews 13:8 The Torah (Yeshua Messiah) is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.
Psalm 119:89 Forever, O YHVH, your Word is fixed in the heavens.
Psalm 33:11 The counsel of YHVH stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.
Isaiah 31:2 Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster,
And will not call back His words,
But will arise against the house of evildoers,
And against the help of those who work iniquity.
