Who Really Said To Peter “Do You Love Me?”

AncientOfDaysJohn14-24-Deuteronomy18John21-17

Who really said to Peter “Do you love me?”

Most people know John chapter 21 and God’s Son quizzing Peter if Peter really loves him.

But, if you ask 1,000,000 pastors to explain who is talking then 999,000 of them will give the wrong answer.

They almost all see this as a conversation between Jesus and Peter and never get the real significance of what is actually being said because they ignore the prophecies and their context.

God’s Son proclaims in John 14:24 that his words are not his own words but are the Words of YHVH God the Father.

That is the most significant revelation in the Bible, if people can grasp it.

God Himself proclaims in Deuteronomy 18:15-19 and other places that the words spoken by His Son are YHVH God the Father’s Words that He puts into the mouth of His Son.

YHVH replies to Peter through the mouth of Jesus “Feed My lambs… Tend My sheep… Feed My sheep…”

Finally, through the mouth of Jesus comes these Words from YHVH, “follow Me”…

If Peter is going to feed sheep, what is Peter going to feed them?

If Peter is going to tend sheep, what is Peter going to feed them?

If Peter is going to feed sheep, what is Peter going to feed them?

The answer is always Torah, The Bread Of Life…

Torah is what God says to DO.

Torah is The Bread Of Life…

Torah is The Word YHVH God speaks.

Torah is The Commandments YHVH God gives.

Torah is THE LAW God’s Son said he would not change, not even a tiny bit…

Peter will feed the sheep from the only thing Peter knows, The Scriptures.  And to Peter, that is Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and The Prophets.

That is all Peter knew.  That is all Jesus knew.  That is all Paul knew…

YHVH God the Father’s Commandments are The Bread Of Life…

Those Commandments are the narrow salvation path.

Deuteronomy 8:3  So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every WORD that proceeds from the mouth of YHVH.

Obeying YHVH’s Word/Commandments/LAW/Torah is the only path of salvation that is given in the Bible.

YHVH loved the people of the world so much that He put His Word/Commandments/LAW/Torah into the man He created and called His Son for the sole purpose of communicating the salvation path through obedience to Torah to the world so the world through obedience to Torah might be saved…

John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of favor (grace) and truth.

Why was God’s Son full of favor (grace)?

One reason and one reason only…

Because God’s Son obeyed every single commandment of His Father.

And the only Way we become sons and daughters of YHVH God is by obeying every single commandment, The Bread Of Life, from YHVH God the Father.

God’s Son said in Matthew 5 he did not come to change THE LAW and in Matthew 19 God’s Son says THE LAW is the salvation path to eternal life.

Make sure you are on the right path of The Way and not on some theological path of deception.

Shalom!

PS…

Exodus 20:8-11  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHVH your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days YHVH made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore YHVH blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
